Full Job Description
Experienced Furniture Finisher needed to restore and refinish wood furniture to its original condition or change the existing finish to meet custom specifications. Skilled in using various tools and techniques to strip, sand, stain, and finish furniture pieces. They will be responsible for selecting the appropriate type of finish and ensuring that the finished product meets customer satisfaction. Must know woodworking skills, a good understanding of finishing techniques, and a good eye for detail. Must be familiar with HLVP guns and sprayer systems. Will also help staff with pickup and delivery of furniture items. Responsible for keeping the work area safe and clean and following all safety procedures.
Requirements
Work Independently
Painting and staining proficiency
Knowledge of sanding, buffing, and finishing techniques
Experience in finishing furniture.
Knowledge of different types of stains and finishes
Ability to use a variety of power and hand tools.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work with a variety of materials.
