Rockstar is recruiting for a boutique wealth management group based in Alpharetta. The firm has been helping clients for almost two decades using their proprietary planning process. The founders of the firm have been covered extensively in both local & national media & they are now looking to grow their Alpharetta-based team.
The firm is seeking a skilled Financial Planner to join their team. This independent investment management firm provides comprehensive financial services to high-net-worth individuals with $1 million or more in savings. The Financial Planner will play a strategic role in the core planning work of the firm, analyzing and evaluating financial situations for prospects and creating scenarios and financial plans for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze client financial statements and gather necessary information
- Build spreadsheets of financial holdings for risk and allocation evaluation
- Calculate fees, costs, and expenses of investments in current plans
- Use financial planning software to evaluate and compare scenarios
- Assess current tax liabilities of investment and retirement holdings
- Create client-friendly income charts and retirement cash flows
- Contribute to planning sessions by presenting findings and drafts to the advisory team
- Finalize financial plans under advisor guidance
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a financial services environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Collaborative team player who can take direction well
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Experience with financial planning software
- Familiarity with CRM systems and tax estimating software
The successful candidate will be expected to obtain either a CPA/PFS or CFP designation within two years (covered by the company).
Work Schedule and Environment:
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (In-Office)
- Reports to the Chief Operating Officer
- Minimal travel, except for professional development opportunities
