Financial Controller-Construction/Engineering Firm

Engineering Design Technologies, Inc., a leading engineering and design firm, is seeking a Financial Controller to join our team. As the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports. This is a critical position that requires strong financial acumen and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Develop and implement financial controls and process improvement initiatives
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to support decision-making processes
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banking institutions, and other financial stakeholders
• Lead and supervise a team of finance professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management in Construction or Engineering
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
• Experience in the engineering or construction industry is a plus
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
