Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA. This role involves contributing to the deployment, support, and monitoring of our robotics fleets at customer sites. As a Robotics Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure the successful operation of our robotic system.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations across the United States for on-site installation of our cutting-edge robotic systems.
- Provide comprehensive training to users on the functionality and operation of the robotic solutions.
- Collaborate closely with customers to gather feedback on system operation and contribute to refining operating models.
- Offer technical troubleshooting assistance to on-site technicians, aiding in resolving challenges they encounter.
- Conduct training sessions for new technicians, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle the robotic system.
- Create and maintain detailed supporting documentation for standard procedures, empowering technicians to handle various scenarios effectively.
- Proactively monitor dashboards to identify potential technical issues and dispatch timely support as required.
- Compile and analyze usage metrics, providing valuable insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field such as mechanical, electrical, or computer science
- Knowledge of autonomous robotics system architecture and related components
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and debugging electro-mechanical hardware from industry experience or project teams
- Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and software diagnostic tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent deductive reasoning and analytical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently and as part of a team
- Up to 75% travel
