Your Role and Impact:

As the Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving our success and shaping the future of our company:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies that ensure annual regional revenue growth in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Business Planning: Prepare and implement annual sales business plans to drive regional success.
  • Direct Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key and target accounts, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor District Sales Managers, ensuring they adhere to CRM and standard work guidelines.
  • Sales Excellence: Provide strategic recommendations on national sales plans, distributor plans, and policies to enhance sales force effectiveness.
  • Innovation and Strategy: Contribute to the overall company strategy, identifying strategic advantages to stay ahead in the marketplace.
  • Ethical Standards: Maintain high ethical standards in all customer interactions, safeguarding the company's interests.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Regularly communicate with the Vice President of Sales about key accounts, sales activities, and customer feedback.

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years in sales, with a minimum of 5 years in the Power Transmission Gear Reducer market and 3 years in sales management.
  • Expertise: A deep understanding of the industrial sales process, the gearing industry, and key competitors.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish and nurture relationships with accounts at all levels, including C-Suite executives.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel without restrictions, including approximately 40% overnight travel.
  • Industrial Knowledge: A background in industrial automation or mechanical power transmission, with experience in bearings, gearboxes, reducers, chains, pulleys, etc.

Location:

This is a remote position, but candidates must reside on the East Coast of the U.S., from New York to Florida, including Pennsylvania.
