Director - Healthcare AI

The Director of Healthcare AI is an experienced and expert seller comfortable working across analytics and line of business buying centers to drive continued growth from target customers and prospects. Comfortable with engaging with senior stakeholders, co-lead and co-manage sales motions for opportunities within the healthcare industry working with the account executives and go-to-market teams.

The Director of Healthcare AI is expected to have deep knowledge and expertise in healthcare focused AI/ML and data analytics with experience in Digital Transformation implementation processes and methodologies.

The Director reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer. However, the Director may also be assigned tasks by other executive members of the KMS Healthcare team. The Director is expected to participate in staff meetings, contribute ideas into the overall management and well-being of the Healthcare business, serve as a mentor to junior staff, and consistently identify and implement new ways to improve the quality of KMS Healthcare Service’s work and job satisfaction for staff.

As with all members of the KMS team, Directors are expected to follow the policies described in the KMS Associate Handbook, attend all internal meetings, and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times while working to instill a positive work environment at the firm.

Key Responsibilities for the Director of Healthcare AI  include: 

• Achieving AI growth targets - in coordination with Account Executives, Account Managers, and Industry Strategists, you will build and manage an expansion opportunity pipeline for Healthcare AI with an industry focus, sufficient to achieve current and future targets.
• Account planning & strategy – you will coordinate and execute the sales strategy for your focus industry; from top-down awareness, contacting and engaging AI and business influencers, through to use cases and associated AI value propositions.
• Relationship building – developing credibility and establishing relationships based on Healthcare AI knowledge, application to real world scenarios, and focusing on generating value for the customer, you will engage personas at appropriate levels – influencers, decision-makers and economic buyers.
• Sales support – lead discovery & scoping activities that highlight Healthcare AI value differentiators and lead to strong business case development.
• Internal Evangelism – Educate the wider KMS Healthcare Delivery and Go-To-Market teams on Healthcare AI trends, successes and key learnings.
• Healthcare AI Strategy – aligning to Healthcare AI maturity and common themes that can be leveraged to define an engagement strategy for an account.

Who You'll Work With

The Healthcare AI Director will accelerate the ability to expand and acquire new customers, contribute to industry strategy and play a key role in evolving the capabilities of the GTM organization.

• Account Team: Co-lead with the Account Executive (New Logo) to understand and develop prospect goals, strategy, objectives, & tactics to target the AI solutions
• Account Managers: Works with Account Managers to understand customer use cases and key user communities, drive customer education & adoption of AI in their products and/or systems, and execute the overall plan.
• Delivery Engineering: Works with Pre-Sales Data Scientists, Architects and Solution Engineers to understand AI solutions
• Healthcare AI Experts: Participate in healthcare AI industry events to align on key AI trends, partnerships, sample use-case curation and messaging.

Requirements

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5 years of experience consulting and/or engineering software solutions specifically in the AI/ML, GenAI, and data analytics space
• Has awareness and comprehension of the latest AI/ML & GenAI techniques and how they apply to business decisions.
• Demonstrated success in developing and managing large account relationships in the Healthcare industry.
• Proven ability to interact effectively with ‘C’ and VP level executives.
• Is driven, innovative, a self-starter and strategic thinker with strong executive presence
• Can lead, advise, and advocate for customers and is able to build trusted relationships with customers
• Possesses excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Thrives in teamwork environment, is collaborative and recognizes the value of different perspectives

Location:  Atlanta, Georgia  (Preferred)

The Director of Healthcare AI is a full-time, exempt position.
