Full Job Description
• The Project Manager is designated with facilitating planning and managing IT projects to support the performance associated with the TO PWS for Eisenhower. Activities include:
• Coordination, stand-up, communication, closeout, review, data gathering, data entry, briefings (plan, set-up, record) for IT Facilities and Construction, Telecommunications, End User Devices, Hardware, and Software.
• Update and maintain IT Contracts, budgets, funding, and procurement activities using IT business management tools and applications IAW applicable management and contracting staff.
• Document, update, and track risk and issues for risk mitigation.
• Provide administrative support in the areas of status reporting, data gathering, data entry, report preparation, support for briefings, funding profiles, task lists, installation or customer meeting logistics, managing project risks and issues, and other duties as required.
• Research, review, document, and adhere to organizational processes and procedures.
• Support technical staff, as necessary and serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
• Oversee project/Program deliverables, Projects, and Government requests.
• Manage project/program performance and initiatives.
• Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
• Prepare and participate in internal and external meetings directed by the government.
• Planning, facilitating and managing activities for a large multi-disciplinary IT support project
• Executing complex Information Technology projects to address needs and requirements, process improvements, interfacing with other functional support groups and outside personnel, preparing capital and operating requests.
• The first line to address issues at the lowest level associated with TO PWS requirements
Requirements
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.
• Commercial (Baseline) Certificates: PMI, PMP or equivalent as approved by Government Task Manager, ITIL 4 Foundation
• Experience in this Discipline: four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
• Functional Responsibility:
o Plans, initiates, and manages information technology projects. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Level II performs more independent thinking and difficult tasks compared to Level I and may supervise others.
