StaffWerk is a trusted provider of janitorial and custodial services, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Custodian/Janitor to join our team in Savannah, GA. As a Custodian/Janitor, you will play an essential role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various facilities, including offices, restrooms, and common areas. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Wipe and disinfect surfaces, including desks, tables, and countertops
- Restock supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair issues
- Follow cleaning and safety procedures
- Adhere to established schedules and deadlines
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Custodian, Janitor, or similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail, ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitation
- Effective time management skills
- Flexibility in schedule, with availability to work evenings and weekends
- Strong communication skills
