Job Duties:
- Fully understand how to operate and safely drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of over 26,000 lbs.
- Perform inspections and clean your vehicle before and after each trip. Maintain maintenance as needed; refuel, change oil, tire pressure, etc.
- Keep managers notified of any maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
- Keep documentation of driving and delivery logs
- Adhere to company rules and regulations and obey all applicable traffic laws
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and prioritize safety at all times
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work evening and night shifts with a full-time 40-hour work week.
- Proven experience with CDL commercial driving; preferred
- Skilled in driving and parking large heavy semi vehicles
- Must be detail-oriented, dependable, disciplined, resourceful, and alert
- Ability to work independently and a high level of composure and stress management
- Proficient with GPS, routing systems, and reading maps
- Valid commercial driver’s licenses; CDL and DOT physical certification
- Must pass a drug test, background, and motor vehicle report (MVR) check.
