Full Job Description
AirSage, an early pioneer in population movement analytics, is seeking a part-time Business Development/Market Research Associate to assist our existing sales and marketing team in nurturing our sales funnel while gaining valuable sales and marketing experience. Using GPS data from mobile devices and connected vehicles (CVs), AirSage interprets billions of anonymous daily mobile data points into meaningful analytics for our clients. We are a technology company transforming the landscape of geolocation data and are expanding our presence in various industries - we’d love for you to be a part of this journey with us.
We are looking for a motivated, self-guided individual to join our sales team and help source new prospects and follow new initiatives in the transportation industry. AirSage has a fast-paced and entrepreneurial work environment that is 100% remote. If you have a natural curiosity with strong internet research skills with an interest in working with federal, state or local governments we would love to talk to you.
This is an hourly position up to 30 hours/week with flexible hours, dependent on business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Gain exposure to emerging trends in mobility data products
· Participate in client prospect calls
· Research current initiatives in the transportation industry at the Federal, State, Regional, and Local Department of Transportation (DoT) level
· Identify key point of contacts for prospect organizations (both government and private levels)
· Lead structured outreach to identified points of contact
· Identify and contact private consulting firms to develop partnership opportunities for RFP’s

Requirements
Requirements:
· Seeking degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in transportation planning, urban planning, business development, business administration or related field
· Strong work ethic with an ability to work in an entrepreneurial remote work setting and complete tasks with minimal supervision
· Strong internet research skills
· Intellectually curious to learn all you can about the products, solutions and the transportation industry
· Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
· Demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and oral form
Preferred Experience/Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in transportation planning, urban planning or related field
· Experience directly working on transportation planning/engineering projects
· Familiarity with government procurement processes (RFP’s) at the federal, state, and/or local level
· Business development experience
· Previous HubSpot experience
