Are you a skilled and experienced Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Nurse looking for an exciting travel opportunity? CTTX Health is seeking a dedicated BMT RN to join our team and provide exceptional patient care during the travel assignment. As a BMT RN, you will play a crucial role in the care of patients undergoing bone marrow transplants, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients undergoing bone marrow transplants
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team
- Monitor and manage potential complications and side effects of bone marrow transplantation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care activities and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge
Requirements
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Bone Marrow Transplant unit
- Experience with stem cell collection and infusion
- Knowledge of bone marrow transplantation procedures and protocols
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Flexibility to travel to different locations as needed
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
