Banquet Server for Catering team

Banquet Servers play a crucial role in creating memorable and enjoyable dining experiences for guests attending banquets and special events.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet spaces prior to events, including arranging tables and chairs, and setting table linens and decorations according to event specifications
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring accuracy and prompt service
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, following established protocols to ensure guest satisfaction
• Collaborate with the event team and kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and smooth execution of banquets
• Attend to guest needs throughout the event, promptly addressing any requests or concerns
• Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness of banquet spaces after events, ensuring proper handling of equipment and supplies
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies, including proper food and beverage handling and storage

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Banquet Server or similar role in a banquet or catering setting
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience for guests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent multitasking and time management skills
• Physical stamina and strength to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy objects, and maneuver through crowded event spaces
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the event and kitchen teams
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
