Accounts Receivable-Contruction/Engineering Firm

Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join our team. As a leading engineering and design firm, we specialize in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable functions for engineering and construction projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile customer payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage and resolve customer inquiries related to accounts receivable
• Review and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify and follow up on overdue payments
• Coordinate with project managers and project teams to resolve any invoicing or payment discrepancies
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on accounts receivable status and collections
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and billing information
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable in Construction/engineering
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Experience in the engineering or construction industry is a plus
