Responsibilities

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
• Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry
• Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments
• Support with credit card and bank account reconciliation
• Generate purchase orders when necessary
• Support greater Finance and Purchasing team as necessary
• Suggest improvements to better optimize financial transactions and systems
• Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations (local and national) as well as integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting

Requirements

• 1-2 years of professional accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) experience with an understanding of the basic principles of finance, accounting and bookkeeping
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required; preferred Associate's degree in an applicable field
• Some experience in working with accounting softwares and platforms
• Sharp mathematical capabilities
• Superb time management skills with a high-orientation to detail
• Ability to maintain discretion regarding Exotec and vendor confidential information
