Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and adapt to the company's purchasing process by requesting prices from Vendors and placing purchase orders
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations in a timely manner to meet internal deadlines.
- Assist with daily bank reconciliation procedures including use of both spreadsheets and bank reconciliation software to match records and identify reconciling items.
- Collaborate with internal and external contacts to resolve reconciling differences and research issues and/or discrepancies.
- Scan and retain digital and hard-copy documents in accordance with internal policies and for audit and internal purposes.
- Follow established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of data.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable being assertive in Purchasing to get the best buy.
- Bilingual in Mandarin a plus.
- Must be comfortable developing estimates.
- Minimum 4 years business/accounting experience required, preferably as an accounting clerk.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
