Account Representative

We are looking for an Account Representative to manage assigned customer accounts. You will address customer concerns and we expect Account Representatives to be helpful and dedicated to our customers and coworkers. This role may often be challenging so you should be able to remain calm and polite in tough situations. This role you will work with customers on import and export shipments. Communicate with the customer throughout the job process via phone and email, coordinate between the customer, warehouse operations, transportation providers, port authorities etc. If you think this could be you, please apply today!

Requirements

• Follow up regularly to ensure client satisfaction through regular communication.
• Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints to find solutions.
• Pass on issues to the manager when needed.
• Take the initiative to learn and master our warehousing management system.

• Experience in transportation, warehousing and/or the logistics industries is a plus.
• Knowledge of the NAVIS port system a Big Plus!

• Proven experience in customer service roles
• 2 + Years of clerical experience
• 2 years of Logistics (preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong communication skills, oral and written
• Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Attention to accuracy and quality
• Goal-driven with ability to work under pressure
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail
