Water/Wastewater Engineer

Hire Resolve is teaming up with a top company in Tallahassee, FL to find an individual to join their team as a Water/Wastewater Engineer.

Your job will include working on projects related to water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of these systems to meet client requirements and regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of sustainable and efficient water and wastewater infrastructure in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Create technical drawings, specifications, and design calculations for water and wastewater projects.
• Collaborate with diverse project teams to devise innovative and cost-effective solutions.
• Perform hydraulic analyses, system modeling, and simulations.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and field investigations to collect pertinent data.
• Prepare and review project reports, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Offer technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Foster and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 3-4 years of experience preferred.
• Licensure not required, but significant experience is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes
• Familiarity with water distribution and wastewater collection systems
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, WaterCAD)
• Experience with AutoCAD and other design software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
