Full Job Description
We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager/Supervisor to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations and to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities for our water treatment branch in Fort Myers, Florida. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. You will manage the warehouse staff and delegate tasks as needed. Receiving shipments and checking them into the proper locations. Pulling orders and assembling those components. Consolidating, and organizing products on the shelves and maintaining a clean work environment. They will need to use a forklift and High-Low used for pulling orders.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse with company’s policies and vision
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Help orient, coach and motivate employees
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees
- Determine staffing levels and assign workload
- Assemble and ship water treatment products
- keep warehouse clean
- Monday - Friday, Fulltime
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma
- valid driver's license
- Forklift experience
- Monday - Friday, Fulltime
