Reporting to: President of the Development Division

Job Brief:
At ONE Sotheby’s International Realty Development Division, we specialize in elevating the marketing strategies for luxury real estate developments to set a new benchmark in the industry. We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Marketing to lead all marketing initiatives for the Development Division.

This executive role will oversee the strategic planning, development, and execution of marketing programs for a portfolio of high-end luxury developments, primarily in South Florida. The VP will serve as the architect of the division’s marketing vision, ensuring alignment with our brand’s prestige, while also driving results through innovative strategies and seamless execution.

As the leader of the marketing function for the Development Division, this individual will manage teams, collaborate with developers, and provide high-level direction across all projects, ensuring consistency, excellence, and success.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision and Leadership:
    • Define the marketing vision and strategy for the Development Division, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall objectives and brand identity.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership and developers to establish and execute a cohesive marketing strategy for each project.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing initiatives between developers, sales teams, and creative agencies.
  • Project Marketing Oversight:
    • Develop and approve comprehensive marketing plans for each development, including pre-development planning, positioning, branding, PR, and digital strategies.
    • Ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns by overseeing project-specific budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Monitor and evaluate key marketing performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve campaign results.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering collaboration and innovation while maintaining accountability.
    • Partner with external creative agencies, ensuring campaigns meet brand standards and project goals.
    • Mentor and develop internal marketing talent to ensure growth and excellence within the team.
  • Creative and Brand Excellence:
    • Oversee the development and approval of all marketing assets, including renderings, videos, digital campaigns, brochures, and sales center materials.
    • Ensure creative consistency across all channels while elevating the identity of each development to resonate with high-net-worth buyers.
    • Maintain the integrity and prestige of the ONE Sotheby’s International Realty brand across all marketing efforts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
    • Attend developer meetings and weekly management sessions to ensure alignment on goals, challenges, and deliverables.
    • Represent the Development Division at industry events, broker engagements, and sales missions to promote projects and the ONE Sotheby’s brand.
    • Serve as the voice of marketing in RFP processes, contributing innovative strategies and insights to win new business opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Implement systems and processes to improve marketing efficiency, communication, and reporting across all projects.
    • Partner with finance and operations teams to maintain accurate and separate P&Ls for the Development Division, ensuring transparency and accountability.
    • Oversee property management marketing strategies to ensure alignment with broader project goals.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in luxury residential real estate marketing, with a proven track record of leading and executing marketing strategies for high-end developments.
    • Prior experience working with branded residential developments is highly desirable.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Visionary thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and apply insights to marketing strategies.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proficiency in managing external vendors, creative agencies, and PR firms.
    • In-depth understanding of digital marketing, branding, and luxury positioning.
    • Proven ability to manage multimillion-dollar marketing budgets efficiently and effectively.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
    • Fluency in Spanish or additional languages is highly regarded.
    • Experience working with international buyers and multiple time zones.
