Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Technician, your duties will include:

• Assisting veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Administering medications, vaccinations, and therapeutic treatments.
• Performing diagnostic tests, including radiography and basic laboratory work.
• Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care.
• Conducting dental cleanings and preparing patients for dental procedures.
• Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organized clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician is required. Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong technical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
• Mindset: A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
