Truck Driver

Miami Cordage is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Truck Driver to join our team.

As a Truck Driver at Miami Cordage, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our products to our customers both locally and regionally. You will be responsible for operating a truck and ensuring proper loading, transportation, and unloading of goods. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and records related to deliveries.

Additionally, you will be assisting in various departments at Miami Cordage as we deliver to our customers only 2-3 days in a week.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck to transport fiber ropes, lifting products, and other goods to various locations
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and unloaded properly
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition
• Unloading via ramp and hand dolly
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records and documentation
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Provide excellent customer service by professionally interacting with customers during deliveries and representing the company in a positive manner
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management and organizing stock as needed

Requirements

• Valid Florida DL (Driver's License) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to safely operate a forklift or other material handling equipment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
