Test Manager

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Test Manager to join our team at The Credit Pros. As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the testing efforts for our software applications and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective test strategies, identify and address testing gaps, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software applications and systems.
• Lead and manage a team of testers, ensuring they have the necessary resources, training, and guidance to perform their roles effectively.
• Coordinate and prioritize testing activities with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Define and establish testing standards, processes, and methodologies.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure testing requirements and deadlines are properly communicated and met.
• Monitor and evaluate test results, identify defects or issues, and track their resolution.
• Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, including metrics and KPIs, to stakeholders and management.
• Continuously improve testing processes and procedures based on industry best practices and emerging trends.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Test Manager or similar role in a software development environment.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in developing and implementing test plans, strategies, and standards.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of testers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
