A Technician III will perform regular preventative maintenance, proficient troubleshooting, diagnostics, and major repairs on a wide range construction equipment and delivery vehicle fleet to ensure the equipment operates safely and properly. The fleet will consist of a variety of earth moving and aerial equipment, as well as light towers, generators, water trucks, compressors, and power tools.
Requirements
Preferred Qualities/Experience:
- You should have three to five years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions, and repairing a fleet of construction equipment.
- Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, as well as drive trains is required.
- Must have the necessary tools you need to do the job; 3K-7K in value.
- Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine service on equipment which includes checking fluid levels, changing fluid and lubricating.
- Perform novice level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW).
- Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records.
- Team-player, you work well supporting your team to achieve goals.
