Pool Troopers is hiring for a Start- Up Specialist in Palm Beach, FL.

Pool Troopers, a Private-Equity backed, fast-growing pool service company, is looking for a Start- Up Specialist to join our expanding team. Founded in 1952, Pool Troopers is one of the nation’s largest and oldest pool service companies and currently serves over 18,000 customers throughout Florida, Texas, and Arizona. Pool Troopers was ranked #1 in 2019 and 2020 on the Top 50 list by Pool & Spa News & Jandy.

As a Start- Up Specialist, you will have a rewarding career with opportunities for growth and advancement. You will be responsible for identifying potential pool service opportunities for new and prior customers. Start- Up Specialists are the FACE of our company brand and use their unique blend of sales, customer service, reliability, and tech- savvy skills to gain new customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Occasionally work outdoors and will be trained on pool cleaning and chemical services. During slow season, Start-Up Specialist’s may be responsible for the maintenance and service of pools.
  • Acquire suitable residential reoccurring service customers.
  • Reach out to sold accounts and AR cancelled accounts, with the intent to re-activate service.
  • Re-acquiring returning customers, example (Fresh fill hold and construction)
  • In the slow season, specialists are required to assist branch managers with any supervisory related tasks including route coverage.

Requirements

  • Pool chemistry and circulation, pool service experience
  • Equipment pad operation
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Proper communication skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver license for at least 3 years with no major infractions or significant points
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening, drug screening, and MVR (Motor Vehicle Records).
  • Prior sales experience
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
