SOF Basing & Posture Subject Matter Expert

We are currently seeking a highly qualified SOF Basing & Posture Subject Matter Expert to join our team at MacDill Air Force Base, FL, and play a pivotal role in providing analysis, assessment, and expertise in support of SOF basing and posture, planning, and campaigning.

Job Overview:

As a SOF Basing & Posture Subject Matter Expert at Global Dimensions LLC, your role is essential in providing on-site support for SOF posture issues and facilitating coordination to ensure the readiness and effectiveness of Special Operations Forces. Your expertise and analysis will contribute to the deep situational understanding required for timely and critical decisions within the SOF Enterprise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide relevant, on-site SOF posture SME support to facilitate, coordinate, and engage in all tasks related to global SOF posture issues.
• Provide briefs, updates, and participates in required meetings, engagements, and coordination efforts that enable production of deliverables.
• Conduct strategic analysis and command assessments to provide senior leaders the deep situational understanding they required to make timely and critical decisions for the SOF Enterprise.
• Provide SMEs with knowledge of the joint strategic planning system, operations art, and operational design.
• Support the development of USSOCOM strategic documents by providing subject matter expertise, document preparation and coordination, in-depth analysis of strategic factors, data collection and analysis, seminar/symposium, conference, and war-game participation.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Theater Special Operations Command operational experience of 3+; preference for skills/experience in either J3 or J5 staff roles.
• Optional Specializations (one or more areas preferred): 5+ years in SOF, 4+ years at CCMD or Service, JPME II or War College graduate.
• Writing and briefing skills must be ready to excel at 4-star level command.
• Active TOP SECRET clearance. Eligible for SCI.
