Senior Systems Analyst

Description

Ellington Solutions is seeking qualified candidates that will:

• Develop current and future state process maps of FTE’s financial operations to identify and implement process efficiencies.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of FTE’s budget processes for optimization and system alignment.
• Support financial data migration to the Florida PALM system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Identify the change impact of transitioning to the future Chart of Accounts (COA) structure on budget processes.
• Design, develop, and code financial processes using databases, Excel, and SQL.
• Develop and implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial operations.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Florida PALM Project Team and FTE stakeholders to ensure a successful transition.

Requirements

The qualified candidate will:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field. (Required)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems analysis or financial reporting. (Required)
• Demonstrated Advanced Excel and Access Skills. (Required)
• Demonstrated process and data mapping experience. (Required)
• Proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle or Transformation Implementations
• Power Query, PowerPivot is a plus
• Process modeling software such as IBM Blueworks or Visio
