Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Interior Designer in Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Defines design or project elements and processes required to meet client needs, along with participating in and coordinating estimates and proposal/bid preparations. Helps ensure performance to contracts through shared planning and monitoring of work orders and deliverables with engineering, construction, and various other disciplines
- Plans and develops design projects concerning unique and/or controversial complexities that significantly impact major company programs, including exploration
of subject area, definition of scope, selection of items for investigation, and development of novel concepts and methods. - Participates in the conceptual design and provides full support through the entire project. Coordinates with project management, architects, other designers, and
leadership on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies. - Promotes and maintains client relationships through all project phases. Serves as a firm ambassador in helping to win new work.
- Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects. Serves as a SME on specialized systems. Develops and applies advanced concepts and approaches to more challenging assignments
- Reviews junior staff's work for technical accuracy and provides technical guidance to other professionals and technicians. May lead a multidisciplinary team to complete projects
- Performs quality control reviews and ensure achievement of key milestones. Performs field reviews, inspections, and observations of ongoing construction projects to ensure projects adhere to architectural plans.
- Maintains professional registration and licensure by ensuring conformance with professional, ethical, educational, and discipline practice requirements. Remains knowledgeable of state and local building codes, life safety codes, and other ordinances
- May supervise direct reports, including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, development conversations, and productivity management.
- Performs all other duties as assigned and within scope of practice
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related field from an accredited university
- 10+ years of related design experience
- NCIDQ certification required
- EDAC Certification is a plus
- LEED and/or WELL accreditation is a plus
- Previous experience in Healthcare is a must
