Senior Accountant - Law

Hire Resolve's client is a prestigious law firm seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in Doral FL. As a Senior Accountant - Law, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the firm, ensuring compliance with legal accounting regulations, and providing financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the firm's financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Ensure compliance with legal accounting regulations and firm policies
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to support decision-making
• Collaborate with partners and other stakeholders to develop and monitor budgets
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Assist with audits and tax filings
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a law firm or legal environment
• Strong knowledge of legal accounting regulations and principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
