About the Role

As the Install Quality Control Manager & Qualifying Agent, you will play a critical role in our company by:

• Ensuring all glass and glazing installations meet Florida building codes, safety standards, and client expectations.

• Acting as the company’s Qualifying Agent, overseeing compliance with state licensing regulations.

• Pulling permits under your license in collaboration with our permitting department.

• Conducting on-site inspections to ensure work meets high-quality standards and addressing any deficiencies.

• Supporting our teams with training, mentorship, and guidance to elevate our installation processes.

• Collaborating with management to maintain compliance with legal, technical, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the licensed Qualifying Agent for the company.

• Oversee installation teams to ensure exceptional quality control.

• Pull permits and work closely with our permitting department to streamline processes.

• Manage projects to completion while maintaining safety and compliance.

• Stay updated on state and local regulations for glass and glazing projects.

• Provide leadership and technical expertise to solve installation challenges.

Requirements

• Valid Florida Glass & Glazing license (required).

• Proven experience in glass and glazing installation and/or quality control.

• Strong knowledge of Florida building codes and industry standards.

• Experience pulling permits and navigating permitting processes.

• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.

• Ability to mentor and guide teams to achieve top-notch results.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
