Marvin Love and Associates is seeking a talented and passionate Restaurant Working Chef to join our team in Alabama. As the Working Chef, you will oversee the dinner service at our restaurant, ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. This position offers a competitive salary of $75,000, along with a performance-based bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the dinner service, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create and update the dinner menu based on seasonal availability and guest preferences.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of ingredients to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Oversee food portioning and plating to maximize efficiency and minimize food waste.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or Working Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food sanitation practices.

Benefits
The compensation package for this position includes an annual salary of $75,000, a performance-based bonus of 10%, and relocation assistance ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 to support your transition.
