Registered Nurse Women's Services Med Surg Nurse Manager

Corporate Talent Resources LLC is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Registered Nurse - Women's Services Med Surg Nurse Manager to join our client's leading healthcare organization. In this integral role, you will oversee the Women's Services medical-surgical unit, ensuring the delivery of top-quality, compassionate care to female patients across various stages of life. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a supportive environment for both patients and nursing staff, driving clinical excellence, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. You will mentor nursing personnel, develop and implement effective care protocols, and collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Women's Services Med Surg unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive, patient-centered care plans.
• Ensure adherence to established clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, promoting their professional development.
• Monitor quality indicators and implement strategies to improve patient care and satisfaction.
• Conduct regular team meetings to foster a culture of open communication and collaboration.
• Manage departmental budgeting and resource allocation effectively.

Requirements

Must-Have Requirements to be Considered:

• Ideally looking for 3-5+ years ACUTE CARE RN experience
• Minimum of 2 years of ACUTE CARE experience in nursing leadership – ideally as a Manager, Supervisor, or Assistant Nurse Manager. Will consider strong charge RNs, but not RNs that have only done relief charge occasionally
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse, or Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), or Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• Associate’s in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred)
