Registered Nurse Director of Surgical Services

Corp Talent Resources is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a passionate Registered Nurse - Director of Surgical Services to join our esteemed healthcare partner. In this integral position, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Surgical Services department, leading a dedicated team to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality surgical care. This role is key in fostering an environment where patient-centered care and excellence in surgical outcomes are the top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all aspects of the Surgical Services department, including staffing, budgeting, and surgical operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implementation of safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute optimal surgical care strategies.
• Mentor and lead nursing staff, providing support for professional growth and development.
• Monitor performance metrics, driving quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Manage resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring the department operates within budgetary constraints.
• Foster a collaborative team environment that prioritizes quality patient care and effective communication.

Requirements

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor's degree in nursing required
• A minimum of 5 years of Leadership experience in Surgical Services (Director Level or Nurse Manager in an acute hospital setting (surgery center experience WILL NOT BE REQUIRED for this position)
• Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
• A valid FL state RN license of Multi-State Compact License
• Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
• Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred
