Registered Nurse

THE LAKES HOME CARE is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical information
• Assist in the coordination of care with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and social workers
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, medications, and home care techniques
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the provision of high-quality and holistic care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a home care or community health setting
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and standards of practice
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion and empathy for patients with diverse backgrounds and conditions
• Current CPR certification
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is preferred
