Florida Realtors, the state's largest trade association, is seeking a vibrant Reception and Office Assistant for our Orlando HQ. This role is the face of the association and first point of contact for all visitors and callers. As such, it is often the first and foremost impression of Florida Realtors to its members, vendors, and visitors.

  • Greet visitors with a warm smile and a welcoming disposition.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls with charm and professionalism.
  • Direct messages from our inbound support email inbox to the internal parties who can assist.
  • Be a hospitality expert - own the presentation of the lobby as well as the flow of (a) guests to/from the building, (b) incoming mail and deliveries, and (c) routine vendors.
  • Assist in various administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

Requirements

Florida Realtors is located just north of Orlando International Airport, and this role will be 100% in-office. The ability to commute here daily is essential. Also, to be successful in this position, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • A sunny disposition and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Previous experience in a reception or customer-facing role.
  • Positive phone presence
  • Exceptional communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to flex daily start time, on occasion, to account for in-office meetings or member events.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with the ability to learn new or updated software including telephone systems, Zoom collaboration platform (meetings/chat/phone/etc), and other frequently-used office or data management software.
  • Proficiency with office equipment such as scanner, printer, copier, etc.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred, considering the continued growth of the Spanish-speaking population in Florida.
