Full Job Description

Keller Executive Search is representing a prominent law firm seeking a Paralegal specializing in Commercial Real Estate to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys with various commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financing, leasing, and development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate law, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing commercial real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and closing statements.
  • Conduct detailed due diligence, including title examination and zoning research.
  • Manage the preparation of closing binders and coordinate communication with clients, lenders, and various stakeholders during transactions.
  • Maintain calendars of deadlines and milestones for ongoing transactions to ensure timely completion.
  • Research and compile information on properties, including ownership, liens, and applicable laws.
  • Draft correspondence and legal documents as necessary.
  • Attend client meetings and closings to provide support and handle last-minute documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing client files and physical or electronic document management systems.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and changes in real estate law that may impact transactions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support attorneys and facilitate the firm’s operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Paralegal Studies.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in commercial real estate.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and related legal concepts.
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing documents related to commercial real estate.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of real estate regulations and practices in Florida is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professional attitude with a commitment to client service.
