ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

·   Meets with Clients on a regular basis, company spokesperson, primarily focusing on two issues: Client retention and contract enforcement.

·   Ability to verify Clients’ expectations were met as confirmed in contract

·   Develop a rapport with the Decision Maker and your contact while ensuring a standard of excellence in quality and Client satisfaction through detailed inspections and consistent follow through with all promises.

·   Verify that Night Managers understand our vision, realize we are #1 in Client retention.

·   Ability to reconcile with client during any major incident or pending cancellation.

·   Interview and hire new Independent Contractors to perform work in your client’s buildings.

·   Assess Independent Contractor performance and adjust staff when necessary.

·   Deliver “delighters” to your customer, within budget, and spend time with your clients outside of the facility (i.e., lunch, breakfast, etc.)

·   Learn, know, and follow the Customer Complaint Policy.

     SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to)

·   Quality Control all accounts on a regular basis to ensure that work performed satisfies corporate and Client quality standards.

·   Be familiar with all Terms and Conditions and ensure the Client complies.

·   Routing out of Night Managers in the evening.

·   Discuss any issues or problems that may need attention, such as Client Complaints, New Starts, or New ICs.

·   Ability to familiarize each contract and interpreting what work needs to be done.

·   Determine and recommend new pricing as necessary due to reduction/addition in space, etc.

·   Ability to respond to client within 1-hour of contact

·   If there is any new contact change, immediately review the contract with our new contact

·   Utilize situational awareness to determine and recommend cost reductions to best serve the Client.

·   Promote daily special services, extra charges, janitorial supplies as well as any other service that City Wide offers.

·    When necessary, can physically verify within 24 hours any extra charges jobs.

·   Responsible for monitoring supplies and directing when they should be addressed.

·   Assist and provide direction as needed in the purchase and/or delivery of parts or supplies.

·   Partner with HR to determine the required staffing levels for both ICs and In-House personnel

·   Stay 100% current on any accounting issues.

·   Perfectly execute the Client Complaint Policy.

·   Participate in Operations meetings and have Scorecard ready for monthly Scorecard meeting.

·   Plan for Night Manager’s vacations and personal leave.

·   Develop and maintain a great relationship with your employees. You are responsible for evaluating their performance, recommending who to retain and terminate.

·   Review and discuss surveys with your clients and DOO.

·   Formulate a plan with DOO and Night Manager to resolve any complaints or deficiencies in our service.

·   Review in-house employee hours for accuracy and missing punches.

·   Ensure punch correction forms are submitted to HR timely with approval.

PAPERWORK

Turn in extra charges when completed and verify that they are billed. If the extra charge tickets are not filled out completely, they will be returned to the On-Site Manager.

Verify equipment lists are current and updated with the Night Manager.

SUMMARY

You are the one responsible for leading the operational aspects of the business, managing, expanding, and diversifying Client relationships, managing, and directing your IC’s.

As with any manager, your job is to lead people. You must have the mindset that “I am here to supply my Night Managers, employees, ICs and crew members with all the tools they need to be successful.”  This includes but is not limited to:

1.  The overall vision, mission, and goals, for measuring our success.

2.  The overall knowledge and understanding through proper training.

3.  The tools and materials needed including the proper time to do a good job.

4.  The support, feedback, recognition, and motivation that all employees need to be successful.

5.  Try to teach each person the big picture. Let them be the hero instead of you.

 

COMPENSATION

On-Site Managers receive a guaranteed salary which is determined at the time of hire. This salary is intended to compensate each On-Site Manager for all time spent and all duties performed in connection with his/her employment. OSMs are expected to work 50 hours a week and the position is overtime ineligible.

  • Jacksonville, FL 32202: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
