Full Job Description
CDR Health Care, Inc., is looking for professional Nurse Practitioners who can deliver primary medical care to a wide variety of patients at our site. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for independently managing health problems and coordinating health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal guidelines and regulations and the nursing standards of care. This role will perform initial patient screenings and analyze test data while working with the team nurses and physicians to provide the best care possible. The ideal candidate will deliver medical care to a wide variety of patients and provide guidance or counseling for patients with critical conditions.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Tallahassee, FL with a work schedule of Monday through Friday.
Essential Functions:
- Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
- Update patient records and update information to ensure accuracy during each patient’s appointment
- Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
- Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
- Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical condition
Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing
- 5+ years of experience in Nursing Preferred
- Valid Nurse practitioner License
- Excellent grasp of medical terminology, human anatomy, and testing procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially to a diverse range of audiences and settings
- The ability to work with a team and to make decisions.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to deal with high-pressure
- Flexible schedule to include late afternoon and evening hours and Overtime and weekends as needed to provide support for safety emergencies or incidents that occur after hours or on weekends
- Empathy and interpersonal skills for working with patients
- Detail-oriented and committed to ensuring patient confidentiality
