Master EC Electrician
The Master Electrician is responsible for planning, directing, managing & executing all aspects of the Electrical program for the Property Maintenance Division in unison with the Division VP. The Master Electrician must have Willingness to connect his or her active Florida business licenses to All Weather contractors. This role may collaborate with other Divisions within All Weather Contractors, to review plans and share knowledge. The Master Electrician will report to the Vice President of Property Maintenance.
Level Scope:
We serve multi-family housing, townhomes, and apartment complexes, as well as some commercial projects. As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service & electrical services to our clients.
The Master Electrician will maintain both quality and safety as is consistent with the goals and objectives of the company.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- This role requires a Master Electrician license or certification in the relevant field of study and 5 years relevant experience in multi-family/commercial industries.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The Master Electrician will possess:
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- Proven experience as a Residential, Commercial Service Electrician Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Familiarity with local and national electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with the Permitting process & Inspections
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments and confined spaces.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential properties, including wiring, circuit installations, electrical panel upgrades, lighting installations, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Conduct thorough inspections to assess electrical systems, identify potential hazards, and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Collaborate with homeowners to understand their electrical needs, provide expert advice, and offer solutions to improve energy efficiency and safety.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards in all service work performed.
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment and implement effective solutions to resolve issues.
- Complete electrical service calls promptly, manage work orders, and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Educate clients on electrical system operation, maintenance best practices, and safety guidelines.
- Keep abreast of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and electrical code updates to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- May provide support, supervise, and mentor other electricians within other divisions.
- Willingness to connect active Florida business licenses.
General Conditions and Duties:
Other duties as assigned. Some tasks may involve frequent bending, moving, lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds; some positions may involve moving, lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 70 pounds; standing up to eight hours each day; working in all weather conditions; exposure to high noise levels and require wearing hearing protection.
Travel Requirement:
The Master Electrician will be required to travel occasionally and visit local and out-of-town job sites.
