Simeon Global Consulting is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to play a critical role in managing and coordinating the movement of resources, equipment, and personnel to support operational goals. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to oversee the logistics and supply chain functions, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of materials and services to support project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource Management: Coordinate the allocation and distribution of resources, equipment, and materials to various work sites. 
  • Logistics Planning: Develop and execute logistics plans that ensure optimal delivery routes, schedules, and resource allocation to meet project objectives. 
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, transportation providers, and other external vendors to ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials. 
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, monitor supply needs, and initiate procurement of additional resources when necessary. 
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, field teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations and resolve any issues that arise. 
  • Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies. 
  • Reporting: Generate and maintain reports on logistics activities, including tracking of shipments, inventory levels, and resource allocations. 

Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related field. 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in transportation management or warehouse operations. 
  • Familiarity with supply chain optimization and logistics best practices. 
  • Knowledge of ERP or logistics management software. 
  • Experience in coordinating logistics for disaster response or emergency management. 

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Must be at least 18 years old.  
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States. 
  • Must reside in the state of Florida. 
  • Must pass a background check upon offer of employment.  
  • Must be willing and able to travel to various work sites as needed. 
  • Must be willing and able to work long hours and adapt to changing environments.
