Litigation Attorney - Insurance Defense

Kubicki Draper seeks a Litigation Associate to join our Ft. Lauderdale office. We are looking for an experienced attorney with a background in insurance defense to handle a variety of litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft/review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements
• Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
• Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of insurance defense litigation experience.

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar and be in good standing.
• Strong legal research, exceptional writing skills, and persuasive oral advocacy.
• A client-centric approach emphasizing an unwavering commitment to exceptional client service.
• Strong organizational skills with a clear and concise communication style.
• Portable Book of Business Preferred
