Junior General Laborer

Tidal Construction Group LLC (“Tidal”), a fast-growing commercial construction company, is seeking a Junior General Laborer to contribute and support the planning and execution of commercial construction projects. This role spends most of the time in the office and minimally one day a week at the job site. On the east coast, Tidal operates from West Palm Beach south to Miami and on the west coast of Florida Tidal operates in Tampa.

 As a Junior General Laborer, you will assist with various tasks on our construction sites under close supervision. This role is designed to provide a learning experience and a chance to gain practical skills in the construction field. Your responsibilities will include helping with site preparation, maintaining materials, and supporting the team with other basic tasks.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help prepare construction sites by cleaning up rubble, debris, and other waste materials to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
• Organize construction materials.
• Observe construction procedures and follow safety guidelines to promote a safe workplace.
• Support construction staff with miscellaneous tasks as needed, while learning construction basics and techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES FOR POSITION

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in construction or a related field.
• Ability to work part-time, with weekly hours not exceeding 24, and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Capable of physical labor and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, with good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Candidate must also be a motivated, cost-conscious, organized, multi-tasker with good communication skills.
• Completion (or ability to complete) of all Safety Trainings and Requirements, including OSHA 30 training.
• No previous experience required; training will be provided.
