Infrastructure Engineer I

As we expand our team, we are seeking a talented Infrastructure Engineer Level 1 with a focus on Windows systems to join us in delivering cutting-edge solutions and maintaining robust infrastructure.

As an Infrastructure Engineer Level 1 specializing in Windows systems, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our Windows-based systems. Linux experience is preferred, but not required. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows (and Linux) server environments.
• Support and troubleshoot issues related to Windows server infrastructure, including but not limited to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Collaborate with team members to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Windows and Linux servers.
• Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Document procedures, configurations, and system changes to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with internal standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Windows server administration and infrastructure management.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience managing Windows servers.
• Strong understanding of Windows server operating systems (Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022), including system security, access controls, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• 2-4 years of experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
