Full Job Description
Perform duties to conduct manual one hundred percent visual inspections of any range of microchips before assembled to identify and remove rejected items, complying with instructions and prescribed routines, methods or procedures and involving the making of minor decisions
Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work from procedures, travelers, customer specification sheets, work orders, shop orders, production sheets, audit sheets, quality bulletins, die maps and sample requests.
• Verify microchip backing, mask ID, orientation, counts, labels, lids, trays, and clips.
• Manually view each die in lot and make determinations of compliance with required visual inspection criteria, removing die that arc rejected.
• Complete production sheets and travelers indicating dates, amounts, compliance and other required data.
• Replace rejected Wash and remove foreign material from die.
• Track finished die in computer.
• Audit trays of inspected die for compliance with requirements and complete audit sheets.
• Maintain written and practical inspection certifications.
• Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
• Follow clean room and other environmental precautions and procedures as required.
• Must learn and be able to interpret Military specifications for internal visual inspection.
• Needs to be trained and certified to perform this job.
• Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.

Job Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of experience in inspection preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must pass training and certification requirements.
• Must pass vision examination.
