Tri-Eagle Sales (TES) has been the leading beverage wholesaler in the North- and Central-Florida area since 1996. We have over 210 knowledgeable beverage professionals that service 2,000+ retail customers from our two distribution facilities located in Tallahassee, FL and Ocala, FL.
We are looking for an organized and motivated Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing payroll, assisting with staffing efforts, maintaining personnel and incident files, ordering supplies, and greeting guests who come to the office. The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Is friendly and personable
- Is comfortable working with spreadsheets daily and is passionate about having accurate and clean data
- Is good at following detailed instructions (do you read the entire rule booklet before playing a new board game?)
- Loves working as a team player and collaborating with others, but is also content to work alone for hours at a time
- Takes initiative and doesn't just wait for direction when you see an issue
- Is looking for more than just a "job" and wants a long-term career with a financially stable company

Essential Tasks for the Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator
- Complete payroll on a biweekly basis for five (5) different categories of employees across two (2) locations
- Screen employment applications and conduct initial phone interviews
- Order background checks and schedule pre-hire assessments
- Onboard new employees and facilitate the employee separation process
- Maintain physical and electronic filing systems for personnel files
- Act as first line of defense for questions related to payroll, benefits, company policies, and HR
- Monitor the 30/60 and annual review process
- Track yearly uniform allowance spending
- Assist with setup of company applications and programs for employees
- Assist with iPhone and iPad provisions
- Cross train and act as backup for Route Accounting Coordinator as needed
- Create and distribute monthly newsletter
Requirements
This job might be for you if you:
- Have at least 2+ years of experience processing payroll (required)
- Have at least 2+ years of human resources or recruiting experience (required)
- Have experience and are highly comfortable working with large spreadsheets of data
- Have the flexibility to work standard office hours M-F, but can also occasionally cover accounting duties on Saturdays (note that we provide flexible comp-time when this happens)
- Live in the Midway/Tallahassee, FL area or are willing to relocate
- Are computer-savvy and have a high proficiency with using the Microsoft Office suite of products (particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- Have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Are somewhere between an introvert and extrovert, and don't mind quickly switching between independent and group work
- Can lift and move up to 15 pounds occasionally
- Can pass a criminal background check and a drug test (TES is a drug-free workplace)
