Position Title: HQE-SM Administrative Support Specialist

As a HQE-SM Administrative Support Specialist, you will help the 705th Training Squadron (705 TRS) fulfill its mission providing advanced Air Component education and Command and Control process improvements. The 705 TRS utilizes HQE-SMs (retired one- to four-star generals) to provide essential mentoring, guidance, and senior perspectives at Joint exercises, senior level summits, and Command and Control courses.

  • Planning, building, and managing the HQE-SM program schedule and budget
  • Engaging with protocol officers at other CONUS/OCONUS bases
  • Providing appropriate security clearance information and requests
  • Working closely with HQEs-SMs to expertly plan and execute all aspects of travel, using the Defense Travel System (DTS), to include itineraries, rental vehicles, and hotel reservations for HQEs-SMs

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience with duties related to supporting senior level military officers.
  • Knowledge of time and attendance tracking (timecards) & reporting procedures.
  • Skill in use of MS Office applications.
  • Data management skills to prepare charts, graphs, databases, and spreadsheets in order to enter, revise, sort, research, calculate, and retrieve data.
