Home Health Aide

As a Home Health Aide, you will assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care, while also providing companionship and emotional support. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Help clients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by medical professionals
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to client dietary needs
• Monitor and report changes in client’s condition and behavior to healthcare providers
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental wellness
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical devices, when necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State certification as a Home Health Aide or Personal Care Assistant
• Previous experience in home care or a related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor
• Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
