Summary of Job Functions
- Utilize extensive medical and clinical expertise to support the company’s mission and provide guidance to various departments
- Lead the development and execution of medical research strategy and tactics supporting products in development
- Act as a medical monitor for designated clinical and/or real-world evidence studies, serving as a member of the cross-functional clinical study management team
- Manage compliance and regulatory requirements, ensuring all activities adhere to company policies and legal standards
- Author, review, and finalize the medical and scientific portions of study strategies and clinical study protocols (CSPs) and amendments
- Develop and maintain strategic collaborations with key stakeholders within the company and the medical community to align with corporate goals
- Support the internal research teams by providing advanced medical knowledge and assisting with complex medical and technical questions
- Provide medical insights to help differentiate the company's products and support marketing efforts
- Develop publication plans and support development programs by leveraging internal and external data sources to advance the company’s objectives
- Present at national and international events to promote the company’s products and research and enhance its reputation within the medical community
- Stay up-to-date on new data and developments in the field, key publications of interest, research methodologies and regulatory standards
Requirements
- MD or PhD with significant experience in clinical practice and research, Functional Medicine training is a plus
- Licensure: Current and clear medical licensure in State of Florida is a plus
- Proven track record of working directly with patients/consumers and applying observations to research and product development
- In-depth knowledge of clinical trial development and direction, with the ability to oversee and contribute to clinical research projects
- High-level knowledge of research literature and clinical innovations
- Strong logistics and process design capabilities for tasks
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information to diverse audiences
- Proactive and professional demeanor, demonstrating the ability to take the initiative and lead projects effectively
- Expertise in legal/compliance aspects related to clinical data and research
- Leadership skills to guide interdisciplinary teams and share knowledge effectively
- Passionate advocate of Health 3.0
- Critical thinker who can challenge the current state of healthcare for improvement
