Head of Business Development, New Industries

We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Business Development for New Industries. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to drive Amivision’s growth and expand our presence beyond the traditional festival lighting industry. You will lead a team of business development professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that position Amivision as a leader in AI-driven lighting solutions across diverse industries.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to explore new industries and expand Amivision's market reach.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in potential new industries.
• Partnership Building: Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships with key industry players, technology providers, and potential clients to drive growth.
• Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, setting clear goals and performance metrics to achieve revenue targets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.
• Innovation and Ideation: Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative thinking and the exploration of new ideas and business models.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive adoption of Amivision's technology.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor industry trends, track competitor activities, and analyze business performance metrics to refine strategies and maximize opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of successful business development and leadership experience in technology or related industries.
• Strong understanding of AI technology and its applications, preferably in the lighting or event industry.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
