Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall success of our company. Additionally, the successful candidate will work on reconciling accounts, analyzing data, and preparing reports for senior management.
Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets on a regular basis to support decision-making processes.
- Process invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and assist in managing vendor relationships.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic financial planning.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Requirements
- CPA certification or working towards CPA qualification is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Solid understanding of GAAP.
- Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize workflows.
