About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative, mid-level music producer to collaborate on an album. This long-term project focuses on pop, folk, acoustic, and alternative genres. The producer will play a crucial role in shaping the sound and launching their music career. While much of the work can be done remotely, some on-location sessions in Sarasota, United States, will be required. The project timeline is flexible, prioritising quality over speed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the artist to develop and refine their musical style and vision
- Arrange and produce songs for the debut album, blending pop, folk, acoustic, and alternative elements
- Record and engineer vocal and instrumental tracks
- Mix and master the album to professional standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mid-level music producer, particularly in pop, folk, acoustic, or alternative genres
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in production styles
- Proficiency in modern digital audio workstations and music production software
- Excellent ear for music arrangement, mixing, and mastering
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with and guide an emerging artist
